Remember that most quotes are for 15,000 miles driven per year. If you have a Sunday driver, garage queen or a car that isn't driven that much, ask for a recreational rate. I have my car policy based on 4000 miles a year and I save money as compared to insurance for 15,000 miles a year. My Turbo is a Sunday driver, third car, etc.
If you don't ask for the lower rate based on low yearly mileage, you won't get it...

similar to mine.

$105 a month for me with Geico, was paying $160 with State Farm. $500 deductible, 100/300k coverage. 28 years old. I have 3 cars on my policy and 997tt is a part time vehicle under 7.5k miles per year. philly insurance is very expensive and i was surprised at rates Geico gave me. i saved $1000 every 6 months. i was with state farm for 10 years and was convinced i had the best deal since everyone i knew was paying more for crappier cars, i never even thought to price shop ..... lesson learned.

Around $100/mo with State Farm $500ded 100/300k coverage. Have several cars and homeowners covered with them. Good service through the years, no inclination to switch. However I'm about to move my race car to Leland West or Haggerty (declared value).
