997.1 Turbo purchase question

Hello guys trying to work one of these vehicles:

http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...78809982&Log=0

and

http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...85546907&Log=0

Obviously both are on the high end of the used price spectrum. What would be the max you guys would pay for either of these very similar cars? I know 6 speed 2009's go for a premium as they are both like $10-12K over NADA/KBB. But it's also dead of winter and I'm not exactly looking to pay through the nose.

On another note, this is brand new Dodge Viper money. Has anyone cross shopped these two vehicles? What are your thoughts on the comparison, thanks!

Not absolutely sure on the pricing, but I would think you could get these closer to $80K than $90K. I would also consider what color preference you have as these are pretty much opposite ends of the spectrum (bright Red and Black).

On the Viper....Two totally different cars. Hard to compare.

Good luck.

Like rock said they both seem to be about ten k high. The black one looks like the rear bumper and lights were changed to a .2 and tips were changed. neither has pccb. Both nice cars.

I recently bought a 2010 CPO with PDK with similar miles for the same money.

Those are over priced for sure.

Actually, that car is a 3.8 motor. I believe 2009 was the crossover where some were still the 3.6 motors with the older non-led style tail lights, and some were the 3.8 motor with the newer tail lights.

I haven't seen any DFI engines in 2009 cars.

The DFI engines started in 2010 as the 997.2.

The VIN also has it as a 2009. It is a very late 2009 build. Is this really a 3.8 DFI?

doubt it. I don't think a 09 came with the 3.8. something is not right.

"THIS CAR IS COVERED UNDER THE PORSCHE CPO WARRANTY UNTIL 7/12/2015 AND IT IS PRISTINE"

Jake's keeps selling CPO Porsche cars when they are not a licensed Porsche dealer and the CPO is void if sold by a non-Porsche dealer.

5/2009 would likely mean it was a 3.6, right? First drive articles of 2010 turbo started coming out in October, 2009.
