Thanks elite. So then with all fluids and half tank the 997.1 is just under 3,500 if I'm reading the report correctly (total weight minus equipment). Do you have manual or auto trans?

I have a manual transmission. I will have an updated weight as soon as my car gets out of the shop.

I am a sucker for data and have been compiling weights of many 997.2 parts, including aftermarket stuff like tires, y-pipes, intercoolers etc. Have a bunch that I'll post up towards the end of the week.
FWIW, my car with me in it, full weight was 3715. I weigh about 210

Do you have the adaptive seats? They are ok seats (heating/air conditioning feature nice) but the shoulder section is narrow and bothers me on long drives. BBI tells me they are very heavy also. Because of this recently I was thinking of getting the carbon backed seats but not sure the weight savings is worth the cost.

I actually do have the cooled/heated ones yes. They are heavy as **** and I also looked to get the cf gt2 seats but instead came across a set of Cayman R sport seats which were a good compromise as they are both heated and lighter than what I had. They are manual sliding. Plus, they have the wide shoulder section and look better.

Yes sir, they have a lever that you manually pump up or down to raise/lower the seat. They slide manually forward/back but the back support is auto. They were a nice upgrade imo. I don't adjust the seats much so none of that makes a difference.
