a local porsche tuning shop near me uses all protomotive parts and engineering. i just am not familiar with the parts and there website is just horrible.
i was wondering if anyone had any experience with them for a 997.1. i am considering a tune, exhaust and intake

todd has been tuning and building parts for pcars for 25 yrs or better. high dollar stuff but he knows what he is doing

32Krazy is right--Proto Todd is very highly regarded. The parts thing is just a big surprise.

 

I believe he's got about just everything except the time to work on his website ,it's been like that for years but he def know's what he's doing.

 

Todd is the real deal.
I can set it up for you if you like. He does get busy and works with several dealers.

 

twturbo is exactly right. Todd can do it all but he is essentially a one man show so he gets swamped. It is best to email him directly.

Yes his website is awful.

 

My 997.1 is fully Protomotive tuned and rebuilt for a road/track use (not dragging).
I never saw Todd but mailed with him hundreds of times.
The car is extremely strong and fast. I can say all Todd's choices and advices were revealed exact during all the steps from simply tuning with the VTGs to my actual GT30s 3,8 E85 rebuilt engine. (cams, intake, pulley, studs, injectors, exhaust, gt30 turbos, WG, etc... came from Protomotive)
For now I'm only waiting for a better weather to enjoy my car, so strong it can hit the PSM in 5th gear on cold (5°C) dry roads...
Logs are fine (safe trims, consistent timing and AFRs, etc..)

Todd owns both knowledge and long experience on our engines.
I would say the lonely downside for me is the lag between Arkanzas and Paris, about 7hours which only permit to share "living" infos a few hours in a day.

As others have said, Todd at Protomotive is top notch!
His customer service is unsurpassed.
My car was tuned by him and I have the Protomotive x-pipe on my car now and I love it.
The quality is 100%.

 

+1 on what everyone has said here. He is the man. I have been running his tune for 2+ years now, zero problems.
