So I just received my 20" wheels and I noticed that my front wheels are sticking pretty far out from the fender. The sizes are 20x9 in the front and 20x12 in the rear. I was told the front offsets are +43mm. My question is, is there any chance the wheels tuck into the fender well once the car gets lowered down onto the ground? Car is currently on jack stands waiting for my tires to come.
In my experience, you can never tell what a wheel is going to look or how it will sit , until you get a tire and weight on it. I guess the answer is yes, there is a change that everything will look different once it completely mounted.
I agree with Chuck. From the pics, it looks to me like you have a lot less offset than +43. An offset of +43 is quite aggressive on a 9" front wheel, but
those wheels seem to protrude very far out.
if you lower the car the front wheels will tuck in a bit like this / \ however, the offset looks a bit aggressive so depending on the tires, it might not sit right and could rub...
...for that offset a nine inch wheel may be too wide...235's would be no problem with the correct wheel/offset
Thats what i feared. I guess i should've done more research after the vendor told me they would fit. Im now debating wether or not its even worth it to pay and get the tires on as i don't think lowering the car will push the wheel in enough.
As it sits the suspension is in full droop and it will move inward since the front has some negative camber, but even with very aggressive camber, which you can't get without camber plates, and rolling the fenders I think you will have some serious rubbing issues...hopefully someone with a nine inch front on this model will chime in as to the correct offset...we are assuming you have no spacers

Correct, there are no spacers on the car. And yes, if anyone with 20x9 wheels can post on here that would be a lot of help.
Take a jack with a block of wood on it and carefully jack up the wheel to simulate load. Then you can see where it will sit. It still won't be 100% accurate since you don't have a tire, but it will help. Just make sure to jack up the wheel with caution.

Good idea, i'll give it a try when I get back form work today.
