Thumbs down

This story sounds like an episode from the Twilight Zone. It's unbelievable.

Wow...They sound like a bunch of incompetent idiots!

I might let Porsche NA know about their great work, as it impacts their brand and they may have some interaction with the dealer...

Good luck!

That is totally unacceptable. I remember reading your initial post about your front bumper the first time. They will never have my business. Best of luck on getting things resolved.

Yeah, Porsche of Tyson's really suck. I will never get my car serviced there. Lots of good Porsche Indy techs in the area. Need to call those folks instead.

I only go there when they have free omelette's on their attempts of cars and coffee. It's pretty lame. I don't even take my turbo for the lame event.

SPEECHLESS, but sad to say I have had some unbelievable situations with known reputable companies and it makes me very angry!

That was a nice mix of 1 star reviews (real ones) mixed with 5 star reviews that all looked like they were written by the same person. Smh...

Wow - I would not be trusting these guys after this and would NOT sign any release of liability. Also, have a chat with an attorney.

I received a call from the dealership indicating that my car had arrived and would be looked at shortly, followed by a call asking me to take time off work to come in and "go over the car with them" tomorrow.

I'm admittedly not very tech-savy when it comes to mechanical engineering so I am asking a friend or two that are true gear-heads to accompany me some time this week. I'm not exactly thrilled about taking even more time away from work to deal with this either.

However this ends up if a molecule of oil is found in the cylinders or turbos I'll be asking for new (not refurbished, but NEW) hardware and have a third party do IV&V of any/all work performed.

Thoughts, opinions, and/or suggestions welcome.
All of this sucks. It is a good idea to go accompanied by someone that knows these cars thoroughly. You might even want to pony up a little cash and have your guy from NGP go with you to overlook the "check up". It might be worth your/his time.

I think normal tt cars will have tons of oil in the cylinders and turbos...just fyi, but I think I know what you mean.

However...even if they find something wrong, there is no way they are going to give you a new motor. A new motor, even at cost is over $ 35,000. Even if you are able to find a used one with low miles, you are going to have to fork out $ 15,000.

They suck...obviously. But, to expect brand new parts out of this deal is going to leave you disappointed.

What year is you car and how many miles? I would rather have them fix it and simply give you an extended warranty.

Try David green of greenmotorsports He is an FVD guy and a no kidding rocket scientist.

I have always had good experiences with TC. And I think this is legit but your front license plate is BS. You told them you wanted it legal and said there was some part that would work. Well its NOT a porsche PART so they made it LEGAL. Its not their fault they didn't find you an aftermarket part.

Now in this case you are 100% in the right.
