End of Nurburgring comparison times?

Apparently they've recently implemented a speed limit of 250 kph at the track. This affects the subset of cars with over 500 hp, our main area of interest. It seems that violators can be arrested. Sounds like this benchmark will no longer be valid for the top cars.

Not sure about that. Read this in Sport Auto and they mentioned they will need to test cars within the speed limits. Apparently this is related to a recent fatal accident involving a GTR that went totally airborne and flipped into spectators. (One section of the track has a rise that is known to cause cars to come off the ground.)
