2009 997 turbo dme report (need help reading, any concerns?)

Seeking out more experienced people with the results of a PPI performed on a vehicle i'm interested in.

2009 997tt Manual with 40k miles

Here are the results:
[EDITING FOR CORRECTNESS]
DME

Range 1 4351
Range 2 665
Range 3 65
Range 4 4 (@ 1460 hours)
Range 5 1 (@ 527 hours)
Range 6 1 (@ 527 hours)

Total Engine Runtime: 1483.300 hours

Generally speaking over revs in ranges 4-6 would have me cautious but I think with only 1 occurrence and so much time the occurrence is negligible.

The shop that performed the PPI (Haydon Brothers out of Anaheim) stated that the dme readings should not discourage from my purchasing decision and that it was a strong vehicle.

Just seeing if there are other opinions out there.

Thanks for any and all input.

RugRunner is infamous around these parts
I would say that the 1 at ranges 5 and 6 are anomalies and didn't actually occur. I'd almost reach and say the same for the 4 at range 4. It wouldn't discourage me.

i agree with others that this seems acceptable - definitely doesn't look to be beat on very much at all.

However how many hours total are on the vehicle? I believe you are stating that the range 6 happened at hour 1483 -- how many hours are on the vehicle now, as that might be very helpful information to make an absolute determination.

Yeah. 1s at range 5&6 are nothing to worry about . I asked a couple techs in my area about a recent dme from a ppi report. They said nothing to worry about and it was also 1200 hours previous. they said the motor can take very high revs but some timing chains may not. It would normally break right then and screw up timing. The car sold before I could make a decision

From my research in the DME reports when buying mine recently, that looks fine to me.

Corrected original post. Total life of vehicle is 1483.300 hours.

The Range 5 and 6 occurrence was @ 527 hours.

I think also doing some napkin math the engine run time (1483.3) with the mileage 40k yielded an average of ~27 mph so I think that's also plus.

Feeling pretty good about this just making sure my assumptions/maths are not incorrect.

Thanks to everyone by the way for their input.

Over rev damage will manifest itself pretty quickly. If it was hurt, it would have happened by now. Buy it, those "over revs" aren't really that high anyway.
