Have had a squeaking noise from my parking brakes for weeks that has been getting worse and worse. Finally decided to fix it, I ordered new parts including retainer springs from utzon.se, price for parts around $100, so not bad.
Update: Doing the other side, I realised the cables where to tensed (all slack used up on the first side). So after struggling for quite a while I found a article on Pelican Parts website describing this job, after reading that I decided to try to see if I could unhook the cables inside the cabin. Worked fine, just remove the rubber mat in the compartment between the seats, then undo the torx screws (T20) and finally lift the plastic cover up, lift fromt he rear since it has a "lip" that extends in the front and locks it in place.
T55 torx bit required to get the rear callipers off.
Make sure the caliber is safely suspended.
Remove brake disc, took a little wiggling and force, but not bad.
The reason for the noise! The friction material had delaminated from the brake shoe and was loose inside the disc, it just fell out once the disc came off.
Old parts...
New parts...
Getting the retainer springs that holds the brake shoe was the biggest pita, top one was simple, lower one took some more time. Just make sure to have the hook pointing in the right direction (down for the top spring and up for the lower one). I had to take the shoe off and test before finding a good enough grip of this.

Do you adjust the brake shoes by turning the "star" bolt? Can that be accessed with rotors/calipers/wheels back on the car (like from the back)?
The star or cogg wheel is accessible through the bolt holes that holds the wheel. I used the light on my iPhone to line up the hole and the turn it one click at the time using a normal screwdriver.

Okay, so it can only be adjusted with the wheels off then, right?
Thanks -- reason I ask is on other cars I have worked on the adjustment is available from the back of the hub, allowing you to adjust while feeling how much resistance there is on the wheel as you rotate it (and tighten the brakes). The porsche setup sounds like more of a PITA to adjust, but perhaps not....

Never done this on other cars, except an 1989 Saab turbo, which was horrible
I think my car is making noises related to the parking brake shoes. Possibly they delaminated like yours. Do you happen to have the part numbers? Would be awesome if there was a kit available over here like you bought. Maybe there is, I just haven't found it yet, lol.

Some of the springs in my "kit" was almost impossible to mount so I reused some of the oem ones.
Since removing the caliber and disc is fairly super simple, I would almost recommend opening it up and only order the parts you need. Note that the compression springs #6 wasn't possible to reuse, they got totally twisted during removal.
