My new to me 997.2 Turbo
here she is, a 2010 997.2 TT 6 speed. The trip Miami-LA was the greatest 2800 miles of my life. Time to hit the mountains this week-end, can't wait !

Congrats on the new car. Road trips with a new vehicle are really fantastic. Both of my 911s were bought in the NYC area, and I drove both of them 16+ hours back home. Great way to get to know your new toy. Enjoy!

No better way to bond indeed. I was actually surprised at how easy it is to drive, power everywhere, the gearbox is an absolute dream, brakes are amazing, super responsive to sudden change of direction. Highway is no challenge obviously so I can't wait to see what it's like in the canyons.

Exactly. They get surprisingly good fuel economy on the highway as well, particularly the new 3.8 that you have.

indeed mileage is pretty good, I was figuring things out so I didn't shoot this screen for the first 2 days of the trip...

I am very happy I went for a manual after all, at first I wanted a Turbo S and I missed out on a great deal on a blue one but no regrets anymore.

Congrats...that's a pretty rare 997.2. Looks like GT Silver metallic with black interior. Great combo.
