Looks great, Personally speaking, I would go for a newer, lower mileage 996 (possibly with a warranty) at the about the same price.

THat's MY opinion, and you are certainly encouraged to have your own when you are spending your money.

I would rather have the 993 Turbo in your scenario because 993 does not suffer the depreciation like the 996 does. The 993 have a very strong resale value because it is the last air cool of its generation. If strong resale value is more or less your concern, then this is the car for you.
