60-130mph in 5.86 Sec in my ESmotor tuned 997.2 TTS

Special thanks to Emre@ESmotor for the latest results. NEW WORLD RECORD?

Car was running on 91oct + Meth + Octanium Booster from VP. It was a bit humid last night with temperature around 13C. Floored it in 2nd and let the pdk do the shifting.

Mods:

ESmotor Custom Tune with COBB accessport
ESmotor Catless Exhaust with 2 mufflers
IPD plenum & Ypipe
Aquamist HFS-4 Meth/Water Injection
BMC filter
Championship Intercoolers
Forge diverter Valves
COBB map sensors
Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD08R tires
Full suspension build
Stock Turbos
PDK transmission

I also managed 100-200kph in 5.072 sec

Wow this is great news. This really shows what stock turbos are capable of. Congrats on the great time.

Is it consistently this time? What is the average time? Say you run it 20 times in various conditions, what are you running?

Thanks Changster.

Yes, theyre very impressive. Credit to the tuning though. Emre was very confident that we could easily break into 5s. There is still room for improvement too.

As for the runs, i really only did 5 runs that night as its tough to get a clean road and avoid the cops. 2 of those runs were with a passenger and i was getting 6.2s 60-130s. Then i did 3 solo runs all were 5.9sec. When i uploaded into vbox verify website, one of them was actually 5.868s.

Will do more runs next weekend.

Awesome job. Looks like I need to get back out there and try to get a 5.8 as well if only Cobb would give us manual guys no lift shifting.

Very Impressive results from champion though. Thumbs up. Would love to see 60-130 results from their 68mm turbo upgraded 997.2tt .

My best is a 5.9 run on my old tune which was 624 whp/ 670 wtq. Should hopefully be good for a 5.7-5.8 run now. Mine is a manual 997.1 obviously. I do my runs starting in 3rd as the extra time shifting twice doesn't make up for the performance gain starting in second gear. My car doesn't like to hook up in second gear very well at all either

Longboarder mentioned runs nearly 30 psi in the midrange in his 997.2 as well. Seems to be holding up fine for him. My car runs a max of 23 psi or 1.56 bar. In my case I was actually trying to keep the torque down. A stock turbo Mezger on E85 can very easily make 800 ft/lbs to the tire if we wanted to

Awesome run brother big congrats! That has to be the stock turbo 997.2 record for sure. Doing a great job!

I was running up to 32psi midrange pre-throttle body as measured by my meth guage so there could be a little less at the motor. I would guess that the Porsche boost guage (if it could measure that high) would read 27psi mid range and 16psi top end.

Now that I have the upgraded fuel system I have asked GIAC to tune down the mid-range torque and turn up the top end so that my highest boost is at redline. I think a flat boost profile will yield great results and be easier on the motor as well. Testing is in progress but will take some time.

Congrats on your results as well, do you use brake boosting? It should help significantly while starting from 3rd gear.. Did you check your acceleration G while passing 60 mph?

btw, just ignore that looser forum puppet, he failed 3rd time now.. trying to post wrong information, thinks he can run me down...

This car is boosting around 1,65 bar (24psi) peak decreasing to 1,50 bar (22psi) at redline..

Graph shows absolute boost (inc. atmosphere pressure)

Thanks. You can see the boost graph Emre just posted. Minus 15 atmospheric pressure. Im averaging 22 psi. That max figure is a 0.2sec long spike.

Thats very impressive !!! You should get out there and do more runs before the weather warms up. Those mezgers are impressive. I have a friend who is getting close to your numbers as well so you might as well set the bar a bit higher . Were you running on race gas?

Brake boosting should help alot in your car. I am still not doing brake boosting.

Congrats again.

My car's been running for 11,000km without any issues. There is a group of 17 turbos from bolt ons to upgraded turbos in this small island (bahrain) all tuned by Emre, running without any issues.

I have no idea where you are getting your info from. I would consider replying to you if I sensed you had a legitimate point. But its obvious what you are trying to do here.

Thanks for the kind words Adam. Looking forward to your runs in the next 1/2 mile event. You proved that this platform is bulletproof. Goodluck mate.

It has to be incorporated in the Tune. For ESmotor cars its usually pressing both the brake and gas paddle together 1/3 of the way slowly while rolling and wait for the boost to build up then let go of the brake. It rlly is rolling boost.

Power shifting is definately not good for your tranny.
