I know someone who purchased a Gallardo from them, car was a POS. Needed a clutch $8500. Put new clutch in and car still was not right. Chicago MC took the car which I thought was pretty professional of them. I would def get a PPI though.
That price is insanely high for an 08. Also, you don't need a "750R" package...whatever the hell that means...to hit 630 whp with this platform anymore. I made more with the factory turbos and basic bolt-ons.
You must be on e85
Yes the mileage is low and the color is what I am looking for, I put a offer in for 85 but they won't go low than 87

OP,
really nice car.
Too bad, no PCCB though given that ask price.
$92K would be all the money..but not by all that much ($8-9K) if you like the way its setup.
Comparatively, I just bought an '07 with 34K miles, PCCB, fewer factory options but more aftermarket mods, paperwork back to day 1 and also a rare color Cobalt Blue.. But, Guards Red is equally rare and more coveted.
I'd get a clean PPI, check the over-revs and history.
Mine had some which would scare most of the purists on here, but they were long long ago and the car runs strong.

Chicago Motorcars has got quite a reputation. I would think that the term"buyer beware" would be applicable when dealing with them. You could do a google search, and see what pops up. If I am not mistaken, I think they are barred from this website.
I have zero affiliation with Chicago Motor Cars or this 911 so I cannot comment on either.
With that being said this price isn't that far out of line. It checks most of the boxes of a high MSRP car and if you like red it's a fantastic build pending all the options are factory. What I see all the time is people lumping all the 07-08 and sometimes 09 997.1TT together. A black car with black interior and limited options can not be used as a comparable for cars like this one. Same goes for the silvers and whites. For what ever reason the Porsche original owners from that generation built some very boring and plain cars. So when you get one that's outside the norm it's going to command a higher price.
With boring low mileage cars going in the low to mid 80s I see no problem with cars like this going in the 90s.
I'd offer CMC 89k and by next year the mean price for the 997.1TT will be near that number and the car will never look back.
For all those that say this car isn't worth this value answer me this. What was your msrp, and what would you sell your 997.TT for? My MSRP was 162k I wouldn't sell mine for less than 100k today and that number will continue to increase as Porsche continues to move away from my desirable features.
For all those whoever takes offense to the boring car comment it is in no way meant as a put down. I just chose that adjective for lack of a better one. And for anyone with a 997.TT lets not slow the increase of equity.

There is something special with a well thought out completely engineered package from a reputable company such as AWE.
Turn your key and on PUMP gas make reliable solid power and if you want more power you can always put bigger injectors/COBBS and be deep in the 5's 60-130 with that package because you have all the good quality hardware already in place!
Why do people pay more $$ for a Lingenfelter Corvette, Hennessey vehicle?
These vehicles are for the most part engineered with the whole package in mind as if the manufacturers themselves were making their car with that much hp.
Can my stock bolt on Re-wheeled VTG go as fast as a Alpha 9 kit, yes, but I would have to be on E85 to match their pump gas numbers, the Alpha 9 would be much more balanced "power" package that you can pound all day if you wanted to and the engineering/quality/reliability in their package is "fitting" for the marque of Porsche. Sometime there is more to a "package" then just numbers.
With a low km car, car checks out fine with a independent PPI, get some $$ off and you would have a AWE 750 911 997 Turbo! To me that is worth something to another maybe not. Just as mentioned before be careful with this dealership as it's reputation proceeds itself and not in a good way!
