Which 997.2 turbo would you buy?

I have narrowed my search down to 2 cars. They both seem like good deals with their own merits. I need some help from my brethren on making a decision.

2010 Porsche 911 Turbo
$75000
32000 miles
No warranty
Has Pdk, sport chrono, ventilated seats, full leather
Doesn't have PTV, adaptive seats

2011 Porsche 911 Turbo S
$95000
15000 miles
Certified warranty 2 yrs
Has Sport chrono, Pdk, PTV, adaptive seats, full leather
Doesn't have ventilated seats

Both cars are black on black and in a great condition.

If you aren't planning to mod, get the 2011 turbo S. It also has the warranty and being a 5 year old car, it pays to have the warranty. If modding, get the 2010 turbo, the ventilated seats do look good over the regular.

It's a tough call, but for the $20K difference, I believe that I would take the 2010 if the PPI proves out. An aftermarket warranty can be had for far less than $20k. Others may disagree.

By the way I don't plan on modifying the car. Stock turbo is plenty of power for me.

Does the 2010 have launch control? Some users here have regretted not having it in their early build 2010's.

Then get the stock car and skip the S which is prepped from the factory!

How does one tell if you have launch control? I have a 2010 Turbo - can't say I ever needed to launch it but cant tell if I have it or not.

If the $20K difference isn't a deal breaker (which it shouldn't be as you are considering it), I would recommend the turbo S. Why? Fully loaded, fewer miles, one year newer and from a driving perspective, the turbo S has permanent 516 lb-ft of torque (while the turbo has/needs the 10-20 second over boost). The turbo S is simply the complete package...!

Turbo S....all the waaaaaaaaaay!
That's what I just did. In August of last year, I almost bought a 2010 Turbo PDK, but decided to wait. Picked up my toy in March of this year and I'm lovin' it! It's a 2011 Turbo S, cab, black with tan interior.

The fully decked out nature of the S and the much much lower miles are worth the extra $20k. Of course, if you're flipping out of the car in a year or so, you might not care about the lower mileage.

That's what I said...
I now have clear side markers
LED bulbs all around
Fancy stem caps
Fancy license plate holder

Nothing real like a tune, exhaust, TPC module, inlet pipes, express top, etc...maybe one day, but for now, I'm focusing on the looks

you have to have the "Sport +" button (next to sport button) which is an additional option from the Chrono package. It adds launch control. This is on the regular turbo, the turbo S has it standard
