Morning guys... New member here, I wanted to introduce myself. I just got my car last week, new to Porsche. I came from a 1,000hp C7 Corvette, so I'm just getting my feet wet in the German awd platform. Excited to learn all I can about these cars! It's been an awesome week with this car.

2011 Turbo S PDK car, Meteror Gray, Carrera Red interior. 14k miles and original owner had a bit of work done to it before I bought it. Clear bra on hood, fenders, and mirrors, K40, Europipe and mild tune. I had the car dynoed the day after I bought it... Made 514/532 on a mustang dyno. I drag raced it this past Friday, and in high heat, and bad DA it ran an 11.14 @ 127 mph. Here are a couple of pics.

Thank you, I do love the exhaust note. Just enough to know it's there. My exhaust on my old car was obnoxious at times. Supposedly, this is one of the more rare color combos on this year model. I love it so far, appreciate the compliments.

Thank you, you're actually one of the guys I wanted to talk to... I'm told you have a very fast car! I ran my car last Friday night, best pass was an 11.14 @ 127 mph. Only a Europipe cat back and mild tune done at the local Porsche dealership. I have plans, but also need some guidance... Hopefully you'll let me pick your brain on a few detail mods I'd like to get underway with?!?!

 

Congrat's and enjoy in good health! Must have been really hot at the drag strip. The car should do better. I did 10.7 @129 in around 80 degrees in a past .2 TTS. Better than any ride at 6 flags

 

It was stuuuuuupid hot here in Texas. 90 plus degrees at O'Dark thirty and DA was over 3,800'. Car felt great, but I know it'll run faster in better air and cooler temps. Lots of fun though. And thank you for the welcome.

 

Of course I would be happy to help out. As you know these cars launch well, but when power is increased you will also need better rubber to get the power down. And with better DA you should go much quicker with your current setup. I'm guessing high 10's at near 130 just by waiting a couple months.
