nice, but couldn't MB/Chrysler do something more independent off a 7 series?

It's bad enough Lexus, Infinity etc etc follow......but Merc???!!!

Not to my liking. No thank you. That AMG engine though, mmm tasty.

Was driving behind the new S500 (dealer plates) for several miles on 87-S through Rockland County on Sunday. The fender flares and take-off styling of the trunk-lid (from the 7-series) made the overall package unappealing to me.

I kind of like it. I think I'd rather get the S55 though - maybe til the Panamera arrives
