Looking to place in a single or dual 8's or 10's in the factory bose location or in the seat bucket area. Looking for ideas that others have had done or shops that have some basic designs for those looking to install an aftermarket sub. I prefer a clean / oem look if at all possible and the car does have a roll bar.

I figure I'll need to have a local shop do something custom, but I'd like to see what's out there!

Been down the road of multiple 10s before but it isn't the right fit for my music. I'd prefer a single 12 firing behind the driver seat. Then I might actually be tempted to turn the stereo on in this car.

not exactly what you are looking for. I thought amount mounting it up on that shelf, but Like the stealthiness of it sunken into the seat.. plus its big (12")

 

Yeah I'd do something similar on mine, just have a roll bar in the area that someone would need to work around.

It can fit around the bar for sure.

Not sure on cost. If you pay a good shop, its probably 8 hours of labor even for a pro (took me longer). At $100/hr + material its probably $1K for the box.

 

Yeah I figure $800-1200 for a good box, which I'm totally fine with if it looks clean

 

Ya, a pro should be able to do it for that. Me? I wouldnt! took me 12+hrs, ha.

Ya. Every picture you see is in my garage. Only thing I farmed out was the stitching of the upholstery and Garth on the tune.

 

Here is mine. Two 10" downward firing Focal 10" subs. This setup was in the car when I bought it so can't tell you too much detail.
