New to me 997.2 TTS
New to me 997.2 TTS
I'm excited to be purchasing a 2011 997.2 TTS very soon, so I have been doing some research on suspension and exhaust before even receiving the car. I figured I could leverage the holiday specials.
So based on my limited research I am considering:
Exhaust - Speedtech 3.0" X-pipe With 200cpi HJS "Euro" race Catalytic Converters, 3" Dual Tips
Suspension - Bilstein B16
Who would be a good vendor to purchase the Bilsteins?
Thanks!

Welcome and congrats on your pending purchase. Exhausts are highly subjective and while the speedtech is a fine exhaust, I am partial to the Europipe myself. On the suspension, the .2 stock setup is remarkably better than the .1 setup and depending on your intended use of the car, the TPC DSC (Dynamic Suspension Control) module might be all that you need. It's an amazing mod which vastly improves the car's damping characteristics.
You won't regret one bit going with Speedtech.
In my opinion, and many others who heard it live, it's the best sounding exhaust for 997.2tt
With Suspension, if you rarely track the car, I recommend first going with DSC module.
Amazing stuff

I bought a Sharkwerks exhaust and love it and it is a great price. Did not bother to replace cats because of smog and having to remove and replace every two years. I would suggest driving the car for a while before doing any real mods, you will be surprised how amazing these cars are fresh out of the box.
Can someone tell me the right part number for the Bilstein Damptronic B16 'comfort'? Is it 49-135817?
I believe this is the stiffer clubsport version: 49-135985.
