Spoiler Parts - stonecarbon2009 (eBay), anyone used?

Has anyone tried or seen products from this ebay seller? Seems overly cheap, so not expecting a perfect fit right off the bat, but is cheap enough to warrant an experiment. Interested to know if others have purchased this product (or have others that they would recmmend).

Depends on if you can do your own prep on it or have a guy that's really inexpensive. Your looking at 1100 with shipping and at least 1k in prep and paint providing the fit and finish when you receive it are at least decent. If the fit is off you're going to pay a ton of money to have it modified to fit correctly. They also say it's for turbo but show no pics of the underside to see the placement of the fan and intake ports. It will also cost you a couple of hundred to send back to hong kong if it's junk.
Just my thoughts

Thanks man. I've got a very reasonable prep and paint guy so not concerned about that part of it. Have confirmed that they make a Turbo specific decklid, but as you point out an concerned about quality, hence wondering if anyone else has bought their product.

That stuff looks pretty rough to be honest.I think for 1100 bucks you can do better. You also need to know if they put the inserts in for all the mounting hardware and how sturdy they are. If you try to install a bolt and the nutzert spins your screwed if you know what I mean. If that's the style wing you want did you look at gt3tek. I know their stuff is decent. I used nrauto and their stuff fits great and the hardware lined up perfectly. I just don't know if they make that style.
Cheers

Agreed. They sent me those progress shots today. Off putting.

The GT3 Tek lid looks ok, but unsure about the inset design where the uprights meet the decklid.

The NRAuto product looks good, but then the first photo being an actual GT3RS wing followed by unpainted examples that aren't closed properly doesn't exactly scream confidence.

No I didn't. Ended up ordering the Rennkit electronic rams instead, which I'll finish the install of once I return from summer holidays.
