997.1 TT Street Build - Cobb

It's been a little over a year now that i've been in my 997.1 TT 6Spd. I have been lucky enough to meet some great people who have helped make the car exactly where i wanted to be. The mods are as follows:

- AMS Intercoolers
- Sachs 2.5 clutch w/BBI GT2 Master/Slave
- AMS Y-pipe
- Champion/GIAC 68mm upgraded VGT turbo
- 1300cc Bosch injectors
- IPD 82mm Plenum with GT3 Throttlebody
- 3 Bar Map sensor
- do88 inlet silicone pipes
- Decatted GMG X-Pipe exhaust
- COBB accessport

Running E85

Few other small things here and there....

The parts were put together by Steve Ott at Drivers Source in Houston. Steve is probably the most professional builder/installer i've ever dealt with. Straight shooter and made recommendations on things which I was unaware of through the process.

The car was E-Tuned by Tim Bailey and the Cobb team was able to finally fine tune it yesterday at the Cobb Facility and man was i impressed....They took their time with the car and got it dialed in just as i always wanted...The car made 702 and 670 ft/lbs of torque. I had the biggest smile on my drive home to Houston last night. Great group of guys and I wanted to make this thread to thank Tim, Mitch, and Johnathan at COBB as well as Steve Ott at Drivers Source for all their hard work in building/tuning my car.

Next step would be rods/studs...Tial Alpha 30s

Feels just like a stock car with exhaust and power is available on demand. Very happy with it

These cars on VTG's and E85 is just a killer power band!!

Look at that FAT hp AND tq curve....that is why these cars are KILLER on the streets, even with other cars making more "peak" power then us.

Very Nice and congrats!

BTW I know of that smile so very well!

What rims and specs are you running? They look nice. Any substantial weight savings vs. the OEM rims?
