Winter is here and I get bored not being able to drive the TT much or at all....So I start doing creative and sometimes silly things
I re-wrapped my front lip (TechArt style) with Carbon Fiber, and added racing stripes to the sides and front center. Hood is also wrapped in CF and has a Silver Badge, and back has my red "R", so I actually think it looks OK...Not for everyone....but the good news is, if I decide I do not like it, I can peel them all off Also painted Airbox, Y-Pipe Basalt Black Metallic and put red silicone pipes and stripes in the engine bay (done previously)...
Currently I am digging the look, but will see...

Thanks! I do like the GT2 style fixed wing....Just have to wait until I have a big enough stack of pennies Just got my wife a Cayenne S, So I can only buy stripes and gas for now...haha
When I read the thread title I was prepared to cringe, but everything looks great! I've always liked red accents on dark cars, and the red checkered flag decals look great especially on your black car. I had my car ceramic coated and found out vinyl doesn't like to stick to it, so I don't have the option anymore...
Question: It appears you have DRLs installed? Care to say where/ who you bought them from? After coming from a 997.2, I constantly am looking into DRLs for mine 997.1tt, but it seems there are a lot of bad kits out there so I don't want to blow ~$700 + time to install if they don't work well.
Looks good bro. Like the stripes and wheels. I agree with others...it's looking GT and a rear GT2 would look sick. Also I think an alignment might help the stance. More negative camber in front will tuck the front wheels/tires and lower a little as well. Car will also handle (turn) a lot better if you are into that.

If you were in SoCal I'd trade you straight up. I have DRLs and they work (although have a little condensation inside) I just want the stock ones back and I must have lost mine.

Hi...Thanks.
I actually bought the DRL's when they were first developed @ $1000! I have since installed the ones on eBay on a friend's car last year and they seemed to be the same and had no issues. A lot less $$ now. I posted some picks over on Rennlist of my work on his car HERE

Thanks Dude! If you really want a set of OEM blades I bet I have mine in the attic, and they were pretty new as I changed to DRL's long ago. I doubt I will ever put them back on, so if you truly want to trade, I can ship you mine and you can ship me yours...Just an offer. No biggie if not. I would just keep yours as an extra set in case I aver have any issues ...Just let me know...PM me.
