GT2 front bumper, no fog lights?

I'm replacing the front bumper on my 997.1 turbo with a GT2 style bumper.

I noticed that the GT2 doesn't have the "fog lights" in the corners. Am I missing something or do I just leave the stock ones hooked up and hidden inside the new bumper so they don't throw a code?

The gt2 uses the horizontal lights as daytime running lights/fogs.

Are they the same dimensions as the non-GT2 horizontal lights?

Thanks, that could work for now. I've been hesitant to go with aftermarket DRLs having read mixed reviews.

Resistor to fool computer

There must be a way to remove the fog lights and bypass the error code. Maybe a resistor???

Yes, as shown, minus bulbs....these resistors will cancel errors.

Good luck,

Ones that looked like these lasted 2 years and then bit the dust. I would spend more if they lasted longer.

Where did you order the GT2 front bumper from? And do you have to do any radiator/ducting work to make the swap possible? I have always loved the look of the GT2 front bumpers, but just never really wanted to get involved with having to redo the radiator setup, if necessary of course.
