Kudos to Greg @ IPD & Rob @ Tunerworks
Hi all,
Customer service in the aftermarket car parts industry can vary immensely as many of you are already well aware.
I felt compelled to share my very recent positive experience.
A local tuner shop (Tunerworks) gave me a great deal on a gently used IPD plenum.
I wasn't planning to get the plenum for at least a year or two but it was an offer I couldn't refuse lol.
The plenum was used so it needed a replacement check valve. I sent an email to IPD through their website enquiring about a check valve. Greg from IPD emailed me back the same day & asked for my address so he could ship me a new check valve & some extra o-rings! UPS just delivered the stuff today. Big thumbs up to IPD & Tunerworks!

I had a similar experience, where I called and they shipped me a new IPD coupler for free!
I called and told then the issue I was having with my coupler popping off, they walked me through the issue and how to properly install it. They said they will ship me a free proper redesigned coupler, as I bought my car with the IPD plenum and it had a different coupler. I told him no I will pay him for it as I didn't originally purchase it from them new (it came with the car) and if this solves my problem I would be more then happy to pay. He insisted to cover the cost!!
I then asked about his Y-Pipe and based on my inconveniences with my coupler (not even theirs) he offered me a ridiculous price on the y-pipe! I would of pulled the trigger there and then, but was not sure if I was going to go a complete and larger custom route!
This is the service you get when dealing with top notch companies like this . I had a similar experience with AWE with my AWE STG 3 S4 when my LWFW let go & I didn't even buy the package from them originally (bought the car with the STG3 Package on it), the car was 6yrs old with the STG3 package on it 5yrs already and the shipped me a complete LWFW for free!!
Many of these older well know companies have a well deserved reputation for a reason, such as above!!

Rob and the boys at Tunerworks are outstanding. Always a great job but more importantly an honest perspective on anything asked. Not you typical business that determines its opinions based on their bottom line.
