I'm pretty happy. It was a labor of love finding the right 997.2 bumper cover in CA and it was local pick up only so I had to pull a few favors from some of my CA friends to protect and drop off at a greyhound station. Tracking from GH was bad but in the end I did get my bumper.

Then on to all the odds and ends and a paint job and finally it's on my car. Thought about going the Depo Dectane route but glad I held out and saved up to do this.

It was hard downsizing a couple of times from a 997.2 TTS and I always loved the rear update from the .2 cars.

looks great, i had the dectane lights but hated them, went the oem route and glad u felt the same!

 

Thanks! The FVD L and R controllers for rear tails lights made it simple.plug and play for $545

Really great choice. Any aftermarket headlight or taillight ruins the car.

Now you have the best of both worlds, the .2 update with the mezger engine
