Thats pretty normal. Ive had to do it a few times with highly optioned cars. If you really want the car, you have nothing to lose. Good luck!!

 

check ur local law. in CA all deposit is refundable unless there's a signed written agreement bwtween the buyer & seller.

i'd think it's reasonable to do that since why would u order something that u have doubt in it, though 9k is a little too much. it's a way to protect the seller that i honestly don't think that's wrong. we CA pals are just spoiled.

 

just leave a Rolex with them....

 

I don't have a problem with it just thought it's a long time to have $10K sittin at a dealer for 7 months ... They're telling me August delivery ... No big deal, just checkin if it's normal ...

Don't do that. that is crazy!!! I was going to put some carbon my the car and they were not going to charge a penny more. I ended up ordering without the carbon but either way, just say no!

 

Arling - any idea what the name of the color will be and/or how dark it is? I'd be interested to see if it's like Ferrari's Grigio Silverstone.

I think there might be a little big of a price difference between some carbon, and all the carbon. You know, the world is in a cabon fibre shortage, it ain't cheap at the moment.

it could be called Meteorite Grey. i can't verify the color in the pics so they might be Slate Grey, or the winner. u like Grigio Silverstone? i might order my next F in that color.

They pull the same **** with certain colors too, Atlas for one.

 

They may bring back Meteor Metallic. We have it in stock, so I know the color well. Time will tell....
