I don't see why people in Canada just buy a Turbo from the states its way cheaper.

I wish it were that simple. It seems that now with the canadian $ being so high, that Porsche would adjust the pricing, but they wont. Its harder to resell a car that came out of the US.It does have its advantages the car is way more exclusive here then stateside, here when most people see a Porsche its a big thing, in most states a Porsche is like a Toyota

The insurance my giving you trouble when you make any claim.

When importing a car from state to Canada, there is also 6.1% duty + doc. fee. But the resale will be much more difficult than Canadian cars. I will only consider import some limted car which is hardly find in Canada, such as GT2, GT3. When try to re-sale, there will not be many Canadian cars to compare. For other normal production cars, I will stick with Canada dealers!

I looked at bringing a US car in, in the end it just wasnt worth it, I for one do not have time to fly out look at car then arrange to bring it down , then to get certified ect ect. Truth is pay more for our cars, but we also resell them for more.In the end it all works out
