997tt Sport button not working

I’ve read numerous posts on the topic but can’t find anything related. My sport button light all of a sudden doesn’t come on , the PASM button works as well as the shock/ suspetion button .Any ideas would be greatly appreciated,,, thanks in advance

A few years ago I (stupid me!) erased the Sport Chrono code from the DME with result Sport button light didn't came on. After coding (code obtained by Porsche Centre) it worked again.

I don't know if this caused your problem... but you definitely needs to buy a battery maintainer.

Does Sport Mode work, even if the button light does not come on?

1. Are you sure it is the whole button not working and not only the light that has gone out? You should be able to tell based on throttle response.
2. You should not have to disconnect the battery like that - invest $ 100 in a battery tender so that you don't have to do that.
