I am considering putting spacers on my wheels. I am thinking 23 mm in the rear and 14 mm in the front, from H&R Trak. I have seen pictures of 15mm spacers and I kinda want something more. Anyone have any experience with installing larger than 15 mm spacers ? Any recommendations or thoughts ? Also, how do i find out the corresponding lug bot sizes ? I called up the Porsche dealer parts department and he wasnt sure either !!

 

The only problem is you throw a lot of road debris up the side of the car. I had 7 front 15 rear and got a few rock chips up the sides.

 

I'm running 7mm in front on -53mm wheels and think it's about as much as I can get without rubbing.

You'll get more debris for sure, but meh, go cars not show cars.

 

I have 17mm H&R in the rear but no spacers up front. I would be worried about road debris with spacers up front. Here's a photo that shows the 17mm in the rear.

 

23mm in the rear would really be pushing them out. I had 8mm front/15mm rear and thought it was perfect, and the front could have been 7mm and still looked fine.

 

Thanks for your suggestions. I like brn2drive's stance. Maybe I'll keep the rear to 17 mms, i dont want all the rock chips either...

 

 

For me, 15mm in the front and 20mm in the rear with OEMs on my 997.2 was perfection with Eibach springs...no rubbing.

 

is that a wrap or oem color?

 

I have 7x15mm (FVD) as well. Very happy with no issues thus far. May be selling them soon FWIW as I've got some new/wider wheels going on.

 

what spacers you have on the rear. Does the 7mm have a lip to center the wheel ? if so what brand/ part number.

 

 

Are those rs171 or MS61 ? what size spacers you have in the rear ? I have the RS171 and trying to figure out what size spacers to fit.
