I assume you're talking about Kelly Motor Cars. There are a lot of cars on their site that are no longer available. Looking now, there is a 996 I inquired on 4 years ago that was sold back then and is still listed as available.

 

IMO that's a stupid way of doing business leading people to believe a car is still available after it sold 4 years prior...

 

I was just talking about that car with a friend of mine and he told me it had issues and it just sold cheap ( in the 70s)

 

Do you happen to know what kind of issues?

 

I had this exact experience with a Gallardo last week. I was up there for business and called to verify the availability of the car and initially was told they had it and he needed to speak with his brother about the service history to answer my questions. He texted me back late that night to say it had recently sold. When I told him it was strange that a car that (according to CarGurus) had been sitting on their lot for more than 365 days had suddenly sold he said, "it actually has sold a few times and been traded back in that timeframe...CarGurus info is wrong" aka...we never took it off our site or Cargurus and most of our inventory isn't actually available.

Strange practice and a big turn off for me...
