Figured it would be a good idea to post some pics of my latest 997 turbo and start a build thread!
So for those of you who do not know me already, I am actually onto my 3rd 997.1 turbo
This is a pic of my first 997.1, it was an Arctic Silver 2007 turbo 6spd with some tasteful cosmetic mods. Had it shipped from LA to Boston. Put about 12k miles on this one before selling it, I just couldn't stop driving her!
Shortly after I ended up with a 2008 Basalt Black 997.1 turbo 6spd
This car was local to me, fellow Mass enthusiast. I ended up selling this one recently to one of my best friends. He was finally in a position with the wife and kids to pull the trigger on a 997, so I was willing to sell it to him as I really wanted a convertible 6spd 997.
So that brings us to my current situation, I was actively hunting for a 997.1 TT 6spd convertible when I came across my latest acquisition. No not a convertible, but it was a 1 owner car with only 19k miles 6spd, so I couldn't pass up on the opportunity! Even has option XD9 for painted rims exterior color, which I have never seen before on a 997 turbo
As soon as I got it the driveway that night I swapped out the yellow front turn signals for clear ones, small pet peeve I have lol

Awesome! I have to ask. Did you pick up this car from the south somewhere? There was a white turbo listed recently on Autotrader with very similar wheels. I remember the listing because the seller was almost angry with the way he described the car and the process by which he would sell it. It was very odd and I was dying to know more about it.

Hey guys, been a while but finally got around to wrapping up my first round of mods, hope you all have been staying safe and healthy! Got her at a good spot where I will be "enjoying her" as opposed to "wrenching on her" this summer. Performing well on just the Stage 1 Cobb OTS 93 tune. Come late fall I will be dropping the motor to upgrade the clutch, injectors, coolant pipes, and externally gated Garrett G-series Turbos. Probably go with G25-660 or maybe G30-770
