997 turbo or M6?

There's a top gear w/ 997S, AMV8, and M6. I'll find the link in a sec. It's not a 997 turbo, but the 997 turbo will only be the results+more performance (-bad looks).

I saw an M6 the other day booting it down the road...the sound was amazing....
Different animals definetely, an M6 is a GT, a very fast one at that..there is talk of a CSL version of it which will be more of a GT2 competitor if you look at what they did with the M3.
I would say the 997TT would put a bigger smile on your face when you want to have fun though, they would be alot more 'chuckable' than the said M6.

Tough call,depends on wether you need a sports car or GT..I have the m6 (previous to it was a 997s ,AMG Sl55 and 996tt) and it is great,the engine is truly something special,it makes all of the above cars seem slow especially above 100 mph ..it handles as well..but it is a big car,very practical and very comfortable.
It does not quite give you the buzz the porsche will..depends on what you need.I will only change it for a 997tt.

the tranny is bad but only in auto mode,in manual mode it is amazing especially when cracking on..the speed of gearchange when is staggering.And the engine is amazing,truly one of the finest production engines ever.
