Hey all. This morning I had one hell of a fun time. My door latches were frozen. Went to pull on the driver's side and I think I might of broken something. Car locked me out with the engine running and my phone in it with the heat cranked to 85. Wifey had to come home and let me in the house (loads of fun today). Here is my issue.

- Driver's side door handle opens and closes normally if the car is UNLOCKED.
- Driver's side door handle WILL NOT open when I unlock the car with the key FOB.
- Inside door handle works normally.
- Handle seems to have some physical tension loss.
- Door alarm churps normally when I lock all the doors.
- Physical key from FOB does nothing. I tried it several times

Any input is much appreciated. Thank you!

 

Anyone hear of how to fix a driver's side door that will not unlock from the outside? This is driving me nuts and I just replaced the entire FRONT LEFT DOOR LOCK LATCH ACTUATOR and it still doing the same thing!! This is getting damn expensive to figure out after just shelling out 3 grand to fix the coolant leak from the thermostat housing? This car is unbelievable.
