DSLRs for sale!
These are the 2 best cameras that money can buy right now. The Canon 1Ds MkII is the top of the line Canon DSLR with 16.7 megapixel resolution and weather sealed etc etc. The Nikon D2X is the top of the line Nikon DSLR 12.4 megamixel resolution and weather sealed as well.
Why am I selling my 1Ds MkII and D2X. Why, not sure, just a spontaneous urge to get out of high end DSLRs for now. I have the Rebel XT to hold me over and the only casualty will be my beloved fisheye. It will be relegated to the closet until I get another full frame sensor camera. I think I'll shoot film for awhile as well. My Canon 7ne barely has 2 rolls through it and my all time favorite F5 is waiting to be used. Maybe get back into medium format. I sorely miss my Bronica ETRSi. Full manual focus with full manual exposure, roll film.... ah the memories.
1Ds MkII - mint condition with probably a little over 1000 clicks. $6400
D2X - mint condition with probably 300-400 clicks. $4000
Will post here for a week and then they go to the big auction house in the sky. Unless I change my mind between now and then. This is a current photo of the 1Ds but the shot of the D2x is a photo from Jan. Camera has not changed since then. No marks no scratches on either, absolutely mint condiion with boxes manuals, software etc. Both prices do not include paypal fees if that is your choice of payment. Paypal must add 3%. If it were a $100 item I would not care but at $10,000 it is substantial.

Scott, I actually decided not to sell them. I was in a way preparing for new models to be introduced this summer but I figure it's only money right... may as well enjoy them until the new ones come out.
Anyways, why the 1DMkII... you need the speed and the 1.3x crop? The FF on the 1Ds is far nicer to have. You can't compare 8 megapixels on the 1DMkII to 16.7 megapixels on the 1DsMkII.

I need the FPS speed for seqences while shooting skateboarding and snowboarding. The 1.3 crop will drive me nuts, the 8fps will make up for it.
I wonder if the MkIII will have the full frame and a higher MP raiting? A 12mp, FF, 8-10fps body would be perfect for my needs.

The update for the 1DsMkII is to an N version like the 1DMkIIN. Basically a larger LCD screen on the rear of the camera and a price tag of $8999. I'm going to have lunch with my brother in law today and he works @ Canon so I might be able to squeeze some details out of him.
