Cayenne Turbo S PCCB Brake Judder

I recently purchased a pristine 2016 Cayenne Turbo S. Holy sh#t it's amazing how they can get 5000 lbs. to defy the laws of physics in acceleration and handling! I also have a moderately tuned 996TT and I really want to see how they measure up in a drag race, it's that fast. (Although I do think the 996 will win).

Sorry, I digress. On topic, the PCCB brakes on the Cayenne have mild judder when first applying them. Under some conditions it doesn't happen at all, and other times it's there. I haven't had it long enough to isolate exactly when it does and when it doesn't act up. Has anyone ever experienced judder with PCCB brakes, and if so, how did you correct it? (Other than spending a million dollars on new rotors).

There's some, but not a lot of life left on the pads, so before I do a brake job, I'd like to see if anyone else has run into this problem and found a solution. I've been in the brake business most of my life, so I'm pretty well versed on causes and fixes on traditional cast iron rotors with various flavors of friction materials. But the PCCB thing is new to me - hoping for some expert advice.

Thanks!
