Brake rotor size

Is there an easy way to determine which size rotors are on my Cayenne? I've seen a few different options and I need to figure out which I have so I can get the correct sized pads.

Also, what are some opinions on aftermarket brands for pads and rotors?

Thanks!

either 330mm or 350mm. You have a turbo right? So should be 350mm front rotor size.

Yeah, it's a 2005 turbo with red calipers (I've heard that makes a difference?). Just want to make sure it's 350 and not 380 before I buy anything.

350mm for us. The Turbo S has the bigger 380mm rotors. What are you thinking of buying? Just curious.

Ah, OK. So 380mm = Turbo S? Got it.

Does the color of the caliper matter at all (as I've read in a few spots)?

Not thinking of buying anything spectacular, just need to pads (Brake Pad Workshop message + squealing) and preparing if I need to replace rotors as well.

Any input on brands other than OEM would be appreciated!

Yea silver caliper = 330, red = 350 and Red caliper for Turbo S 380. I would assume the actual size of the caliper would be bigger for that big 380mm rotor, but not sure.

Yea not too sure on the rotor brands, maybe some other guys who have done a rotor upgrade can chime in. Maybe EBC? Or Bembos?

Ah, thanks! That makes sense. I've also seen stuff about "Cayenne Turbo Power Kit." Any idea what that's about?

I've heard about it but never really researched it. Isn't the upgrades to convert the regular turbo to some of the components of the Turbo S? lol I dunno.

Your guess is as good as mine, but that would make sense.

sorry a bit OT here but the stock rotor+calipers looks tiny in my 05CTT... any idea what's the biggest rotor+caliper set that's going to fit inside the 20" wheels?

That's not correct.

The silver calipers used on the Cayenne S are the same size as the red calipers on the Cayenne turbo. They use the same 350mm front rotors too. The only difference is the silver caliper paint. The black calipers used on the base model Cayenne are smaller, and use the smaller 330mm front rotors. Turbo S calipers, which are also red, are larger than turbo calipers. They use 380mm front rotors.

The rear calipers and rotors are the same size on Cayenne, Cayenne S and Cayenne turbo.

Can anyone recommend some replacement rotor brands for a ctt06 350mm. I wanted to go with drilled rotors, but can seem to find a brand that's not going to leave me having to purchase preparation h along with the rotors :-)

I've got a set of K-sports for my track car and it's a pretty good package for its price. Here's their Porsche offering:

Only question is which size to go to
