Using injector cleaners, do you do it?

i noticed when i just started the engine, let it warm but i only driven 5 meters to take the car out of the garage, then i started again the car after let say 30 mn cleaning it,,,i fell like the engine could stall when i started it again, idle fall to 0,5 and went back to 1 or so...maybe cause the car didnt well warmed up and didnt run, anyway this morning it did it when cold and its more noticeable, the dealer has been using injector cleaner, i remember Giovanni Puliga from AML warranty in Germany telling me i should not use any injector cleaner, and i am seeing AM Valencia did it each time, adding some additives. i did this too many times lately not driving but pulling the car out of the garage and come back maybe 3 times in 10 days...i need to drive it.. what can i do worst than that, my fault.

what do you guys do,? since they dont easily take the injector out to have them clean so they threw some additives but then it can affect the O2 sensor?
will you do it if the car could stall when starting then?
it be nice to read what you have done to compare and understand it better. thanks.
i juts check with the 530 foxwell it says no faults.

if you are in spain do you know where to send the injector to be cleaned in case its my best option later on? or then in UK?
Thank you

I absolutely use injector cleaner....in every tankful of fuel. My goto injector cleaner is techron from chevron. I get techron in every tankful of fuel. Also, once in a while, (about once a year) I purchase a bottle of techron concentrate and add that to a full tank of fuel. Actually between two cars, I split that bottle 50/50.

I especially like it in my Aston Martin DB11 V12 as it is a port injection design.

well its good to know thanks, i heard there is some injector cleaner more o2 sensor friendly, actually i only stopped at Chevron when in the us and the one you point out seems real good i will give it a go one time wont kill me then...
port injection design. but then your injection is different than mine, yours is more fitted for additive than a rapide 's injection?

Yes, the 5.2L V12 engine is port injection as in the traditional injection engines.

All the way back to 1980 I purchased a brand new BMW M6 and the owner's manual specified that Techron should be used regularly with fuel fillups. I've used Techron since then. With port injection I not only keep the injectors clean, but also keep the intake port in the head and the intake valve clean.

The key with Techron is to NOT overdose. Techron works best with continued use over time. It is not a "one-time fix". Overdoses can be harmful.

My recommendation is to follow the instructions on the bottle. It should be a bottle for a full tank of fuel. If you put the bottle in first then drive to the fueling station that might give you a moment of higher concentration before you fill up to make the proper dose. But very high concentrations is not recommended.

+1 Techron is what I use frequently in any vehicle on a regular basis and have never had an issue.

I used to use it in the 80s too. Memories! Fuels these days tend to already have additives.

Going off down memory lane… The e24 was such a lovely, beautiful car. Some irony that it was badged M6 in the US but M635CSi elsewhere and you guys got a de-tuned motor and soft suspension. I remember the old forums where US folk were forever annoyed with getting de-tuned BMWs. How things have changed. …ending memory lane.

I too use Techron, but not every tank. Maybe every 1500-2000 miles. I use it in every car and have been using it for decades.

Follow the direction for how many gallons the container can treat. Pour it into an empty tank before you fill up. Techron comes in different size bottles. If you have just one smaller size bottle, don't fill the tank all the way to keep the concentration per their directions.

Chevron Techron Fuel Injector Cleaner, 12 oz, Pack

You could use two of those bottles in full tank of gas

The techron I add once a year is the concentrate which is better than the injector cleaner.
I might have been misunderstood in my first reply. I use only Chevron gas which has techron in it in the correct concentration. So, I do not need to add it except once a year.

This is the Techron I add yearly, even then only half a bottle split between two cars:
