There are sellers on ebay that show a real item but if you read carefully it might say Brand: after market or some no-name manf.
There are a few deals to be had on eBay if you have patience.
I bought a pair of AM engine air filters plus one AM oil filter as a set for $100 free delivery.
Got another deal this week, pair of engine and cabin AM air filters for $105 free delivery.

I think i just saw the ones your talking about - YES, FAKE
They are Chinese fakes, a few have a label on top that is all in Chinese and the "Brand" text also gives it away.
Doesn't cost much to silk screen a $2 oil filter.
This is right off of Amazon. A number of pics like this none of which actually show the whole label. Just enough to fool those who think they are buying an OEM unit.
Oh ****, I just bought one of those. Wasn't planning on using for a month or two. I guess I'll return it. I had thoughts on it possibly being fake. Couldn't find anyone in US selling.
Who has real oil filters in US currently?

if we can confirm somehow then one needs only one oil filter for lifetime form fcpeuro and keep on swapping it back underlife time replacement warranty
Regarding the eBay filters, I bought one and it looked visually identical in all respects to one I had bought from Redpants, so assuming the latter is legit, it seems ok to me. Sometimes brand names are obscured because the seller isn’t “authorized”. As always, YMMV.

I did ask the seller and he said it’s after market not AM original
I returned the oil filter for full refund on eBay. The seller asked me to keep the oil filter for half the amount "to sell to my friends". I said this is not ok and oil filter already in the mail box.
i buy them from scuderia, its oem but from uk. not much dif. between oem and chinese repro its better to get it oem then for the air filter its more saving and they seems good .
myself i bought some blue print air filter for my next anual service but i guess these are ok to use. let me know otherwise

I bought 4 AM oil filters from Nicolas Me in the UK, and none of them have any white Chinese sticker labels on them.
For me i'm sticking with the AM engine air filters as i've heard the Blue Prints are a tighter fit.
I had a difficult enough time changing out the factory ones, don't need anything tighter.
I’ve compared the AM and Ford Racing filters side-by-side and the Ford is clearly superior. Not surprising, since Ford owned AM when my DB-9 was made. The AM appears to be a variation on the basic FL 820 Ford filter used in a cajillion Ford cars and trucks. It’s a perfectly good filter, but the racing filter is much better. The racing filter is a slightly tighter fit. Slips right in no problem when installing, but it’s harder to pull out as it tends to hang up on the tangle of hoses above the filter.
