My first "issue" with my vantage...unresponsive gauges/lights
today was the 4rd or 5th time ive driven my vantage this year. the last few times were uneventful...took it to a British car meet
Anyway, today i drove it about 20miles. parked for an hour or so but when I started it the dash brake light stayed on, the gauges didn't work, passenger windo didn't work, top did not work...no turn signals either.
it drove "fine" and made it home without those things working
i just went down to the garage and started it again and it fired up with everything working as it should
turned it off and back on...the "problem" returned with unresponsive gauges,
turned it off and back on...the problem went away but still no conv top function
thoughts before I go pick up my scan tool that i loaned out???
thanks

Convertible roof module (CRM) is toast? Search this forum for "CRM" and I think you'll see your exact symptoms. If you unplug it, everything except your roof should work normally.
Apparently astonowners.com is repairing them at considerable savings over buying a replacement.
