Refinished AM V12VS Wheels in Shadow Chrome

Refinished my stock AM wheels from black to BMW shadow chrome color. Loving the change. Not a black wheel fan.

The Shadow Chrome wheels usually look great. Much better than black, especially on that color. Aston had them for a few years from the factory but I could never find a car I liked with them.

I wonder how the particular shade you got compares to the Aston OEM ones.

Great question. When I see photos online, they look very similar. It would likely take a side-by-side comparison to tell any differences.

They look great! Much better IMO.

How are you liking the car? I love Cobalt -- took mine out today for the first time since early February since the massive rain finally washed the salt off the roads.

I’ve never seen any AM wheels offered in shadow chrome. Photo of one? They’ve offered diamond faced wheels, but SC? I don’t think so.

Here's a DB11 with the factory shadow chrome wheels I've seen: https://preowned.astonmartin.com/en_us/vdp/25397632-

Painted. Shadow Chrome is a multi-stage process. Cannot replicate with powder coat.

Still loving it. These cars are such value in the market today. Once I sell my aircooled Porsche I'll be taking up to Velocity AP in BC and getting mods and a large service done.

Don’t look like shadow chrome to me. Google ‘shadow chrome wheel finish’ to see what it really looks like. You’ll have to show me a piece of AM documentation that states wheels can be had with an optional SC finish.

Look it up yourself. The description of that car says it and I've seen it in person and on the stickers of new cars that were at the dealer.

As I have to tell so many people lately, believe what you want, it doesn't change reality.
