i am also in the market...sort of....and checking out what to get.
thinking of picking up a nikon or canon. probably the former.

I got totally side tracked. My partner has a D50 so I have been using that when I need better quality than my Cannon SD. I think I will start looking again next month, let me know if you find anything.
