KY Porsche Club meet @ Putnam Park

Did anyone here make it this past weekend? I have a few pictures that I'm going to upload later. There were some very nice cars there.

2 997 TTs
several (6?) 996 GT3s
several (3?) 996 TTs
several older 911s that I can't name
Lots of C2, C4, C4S, and boxsters.

The primary sponsor, a KY dealership, had brought a cayenne and a cayman S for people to test drive. It looked like a lot of fun.

P.S. does anyone here own the 964R that my friend talked to in Terre Haute?

The Elise in the last two pictures was actually red. It's really hard to tell because the sun was so bright and directly at the camera. It sounded pretty mean... meaner than alot of the cars there

I was kidding around as the Blue Elise was mine. The red ones looked good too. I especially liked the red with black stripes look.

What car and run group were you in?

Haha... actually, I was only a spectator for about an hour on Saturday. A friend and I met up just to check out the track/cars. And since we were only there for an hour we didn't get to see all of the cars. Sorry I missed your car! We only got to watch 2 groups of cars go out and I know that a few cars had packed up by the time we were there... ~4:30 to 5:30.

Maybe next time

Do you know if that Lotus was modified? It really did sound louder than most of the other cars. But again, I didn't hear your car for comparison.

I think he was basically stock. The red one with stripes showed up on Sunday and he had a Quicksilver exhuast and and Trubo XS intake. I have a Fujita intake and a Lotus Stage II track exhuast. My exhuast will make your head ring inside the car. I was in one of the advanced groups and we finished our last run before the runs groups you saw late Saturday. There were four run groups after my group and I believe you saw the last two as the red Lotus was in yellow or the last run group of the day.
