wow, thats a great lookin CLK! Like above, any idea on pricing? 100k?

I wonder if other AMG models will come in this "black edition" too?

More then likely it won't appear in the US market. They're only releasing the Cabriolet CLK63 in the US with no plans to bring the coupe state side.

That what my dealer told me when I asked about the F1 package on a 55 in 2004. Money talks, and apparently, americans have a lot of it! Having money is something but "patience" is something else!

True. I'm just going by what MBUSA and MBAG have released in a press conference about it.

I just saw the SLK55 black being around 220,000 USD (with VAT) in germany..

This thing has gotta be at least 300,000$

I don't know if it's going to be available in NA or not. I noticed one thing though, there's not enough room for a standard sized German or European license plate on the trunk lid. The plate mounted is extra short and those plates are kinda hard to get, no way they're selling the car in Germany/Europe with this license plate mount or trunk lid. It looks like a US plate would fit the mount perfectly though...
