NIce House!! A house like that in Chicago would go for around $500k at least..

LOL, a house like that in Cali would be 750+ (more like a mill in certain parts!)

We are 20-30 minutes from Plano. Location is just off of 635 & McArthur - about a 5-10 minute drive to DFW airport.

btw, its true, even on the rural north coast, that would be 800k. Must be a lot of Californians moving to Texas to retire.

Yep compared to southern cali you typically get about 5 times the house for the $$$. Property taxes are higher, but no state personal inc. tax. But in the most land constrained areas, price are catching up a bit.
