997 turbo purchase
Hi guys,
i am new here, and i currently have an M3 CSL With many upgrades, Brakes, cams, ecu, etc, etc., and i have been offered an 997 turbo fron jan 2006 with 23000 km, Pccb, crono, 6 speed, sports seats and more.
In return he wants my csl and 50.000€. Is this a good deal?
I am faster at the track than him, but on the road he kills me.
I have driven his and like it, and if it is a good deal ill take it.

If it's a Jan 2006 car it can't be a 997TT, unless it's factory test car or some other "special" early delivered car. The first 997TTs were delivered in early summery 2006 to those first on the list.

I never understand people who buy a Porsche and are afraid of driving it! Very few people have better cars in their garage that they would drive instead. In Europe, a one-year old Turbo will have 30 to 40,000km on it and it will sell well. These cars are designed and built to go several hundred thousand miles, if maintained properly.
wow, some poeple, this forum is worldwidel! Always think small! he's not in the US, over sea some where , think about it he drives a CSL.
anyways depends what you want , but i would keep the csl! just a little more rare and little more fun around a track..

gtbuyer,
The first 997TT deliveries I know about were mid summer 2006 and this was in Germany!! Don't know of anyone anywhere that rec'd a 997TT earlier. BTW I monitor the "other" popular 997TT forum which is mostly worldwide as well.

After your great replys i have talked to my friend, and he told me it was from july 06, i just couldent read his criblings. He has a nice company car, but the purs i nicer, there for the milage. Ill try raise the cash instead of trading the csl, but im not sure thats possible. The 977tt also has a few upgrades, air filter and a chip, it should be around 530 hp.
