This is not my car, but a friends. He just got a Red C6 Z06 and his buddy got a tip 997 TT. The Z06 only has 900 miles on it. Raced from a roll and a dig. I guess this is what happens when a 126 mph trapping car races a 121 mph trapping car..

Man those vette's are fast dude, more power to them even though they dont need it. If I had my 997TT now I would go and polish it as it clearly has no business being out on the road now that another car can beat it. Whats this world coming to when a vette can beat a porsche, your video made me a believer and I am reformed. Screw porsche and all it makes. I think if it was daylight the Porsche would have won with no problem. You know at night the air changes and works to the advantage for the Vette.
So I think a daylight race is in order.

It wouldn't have mattered.

It is simply physics. More HP and less weight is going to be faster than less HP and more weight. I did not post this video to start trouble. This was not me driving the Z06.

I just wanted to prove to SOME of the in-denial Porsche owners on here that the Z06 is much quicker, especially from a roll. We have a car that traps at 126 vs. a car that traps at 121. I don't know why people thought a 997 TT would be ahead of a C6 Z06 in any means (although, it is close from a dig up to 120 due to the great AWD).

Both great cars, no doubt. just wanted to share..

Yeah saw those clips awhile back, hillariously funny especially since I cant understand a word of the comments but they sounded like they wer having fun.

How do we know the Corvette is bone stock. Yeah the captions say it, but doesn't mean anything. I question it because the video is so biast towards the corvette.
