Hi everyone,
Well I'm back from Laguna Seca. What a day to spend my birthday. Take the day off and do some racing! Weather was Perfect!!!
All I can say is that I am very happy with the car and it's capabilities. Compared to the 996TT, I would say the 997TT out of the box handles and brakes better. With the 610HP I am running, no one could keep up with me on the straights or anytime coming out of turns. The thing is a monster but it's soo smooth unlike my old TT. On the straight aways I would have a Z06 in front of me, they'de let me go by and I would put at least 7+ car lengths before the next turn.
All I need next time to really improve would be suspension, brake pads and better tires. The PS2's however did a great job!!!!!

Hey Kevin, I removed the straight pipes as I knew I couldn't pass Laguna. Laguna has 92dbs. I put a Miltek Exhaust which is very quite, so I passed easily.
This guy in a Cayman got flagged 3 times and got kicked out. I hate Laguna's sound rules!!!

you need to share your lap times otherwise, point bys don't mean jack for speed/skills -
and i'm betting you haven't even come close to maximizing the use of your existing "super" car to warrant an upgrade of any type other than the typical d!ck measuring purposes.
