I just got back from the dealer launch of the new Cayenne in Mexico. Porsche's CEO announced there that the Porsche 997 Turbo Cab will be introduced in September. The 2008 997 models will be the same as the 2007's.

Are they going to push up production of remaining TT coupes to make room?
Saw something to this effect in another thread.

 

What do you mean by "remaining" Turbo Coupes? There are no remaining Turbo Coupes... There is a certain amount of Coupes to be build in a modelyear. Those numbers are set and the cars are already alllocated to the dealers up until June. July production is the start of the 2008 modelyear. I think they will then make a few less Coupes and start making the Turbo Cabs next to the Coupes. Overall I expect that there will be more Turbo's but now spread over 2 models.

That sounds like no face lift for the NA 997 in 2008. Right?

 

I was wondering if they were going to move up any remaining my07 coupes allocated for spring/summer production to free up the line.

 

So, is this true? The new 997TT Cab coming later this fall?

Does anyone know where to look for pics? I just called my dealer and they know nothing about it or they're lying.

 

All indications are spring 2007 introduction with the first cars in August 2007 as a 2008 model. There have been several threads here and on Rennlist on this.

 

I'm number two on a list with my dealer for TT Cab/PDK. As of friday he has no concrete info, just rumors.
