ok, I know there are others who compared these 2 before buying one or the other. You can get the Cadillac XLR-V (supercharged 443 hp) for over $20k off sticker of $100k these days (2006 leftovers). Very tempting at this price.

SL55 hands down for me. I have never been a fan of anything Cadillac has made.

Yes, that's what I thought as the market for European Luxury cars is much stronger than Cadillac.

I really do like the SL series, but there are so many of them on the road. Same with the 996 911, that's why I drive a 993 911 because you never seen one, only at PCA events

At least test drive the xlr-v, its a decent car, but the interior kills it for me.

you will never see anther one on the road at the same time as you.

I agree, must test drive before buying. Cadillac dealers are really agressive in discounting these $100k halo vehicles.
