Apple AirPort Express (Access Point / Wireless Music)

So I have this Airport Express, just like this http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPL...lm=M9470LL%2FA that I don't use. It's pretty cool, you plug it in the wall and it hooks in to your network (wired or wireless), acts as an access point but also a wireless streaming device. You can plug a set of speakers straight in to the Airport Excpress then play music to them wirelessly from iTunes. Great for playing music outside or anywhere away from yoru computer.

I'd trade it for some interesting gadget or toy or I guess abouyt $65, full details available on the link above. Just the unit, no boxes or whatever but I tested it and it works great.

Chris.

I never used it much but it has a web based admin tool like other access points. Once it is configured you just stick it in the wall and plug the speakers in, iTunes then finds it and shows it as a "Play To" target, you just click it and the music then comes out of your remote speakers/headphones.

I would assume a connected printer would show up as a network printer but I'm a PC guy so I can't really advise on how Apple stuff works.

Given that I can't offer much guidance if you want to try it then decide it isn't for you you're welcome to send it back or whatever, I wouldn't want anyone to finish up disappointed.

I'm guessing that (even an Apple) battery isn't going to do me much good without a laptop to put it in so I'll PM you my PayPal. I'll not be home until weekend to mail it if you'd rather wait until then or I can try to persuade wifey to mail it, we'll see!

Thanks,

Chris.

I can not rave enough about the express.... usb printing, music streaming, increase wireless range (remote station), and even can use to connect say a console game system to the web for online play.

I recommend one of these to go with it... http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/airbase/

Mr. Kram... got home last night, package is in the (Priority) mail as of 9:30am this morning, PayPal should have sent you tracking (not that USPS tracking is much use).
