We are trying to figure out your mod list and also if you were running in stock mode. What Octane etc... from what I understand the STG3 S4 was able to hang.. here's the post... I would love to hear about your mods or lack of.... Also since the car was claimed to be chipped how was it possible to switch to Stock mode. Inquiring minds want to know

Racegas....sure it would give a stock 997TT a good run. That would put it at ~500-530 hp and torque to match perhaps. There are some very fast S4's out there, lots of fun when you give APR some time and $$.

Thanks for the info. From what it sounds like you may just have one of the fastest S4's around. (at least with straight Ko4's) I'd be interested to see you run him with the program activated and on same fuel. It would be something....

Totally possible... given the right conditions etc... As stated the 997 was on 91oct and the S4 was on about 104 or so. Timing was increased as was boost. Jacksons car runs very strong and obviously he knows how to row. I've been around both platforms for a while now and don't know who I would put money on if they were both on 93 which would even out the field a bit.I think above 130 or so the 997tt will definately win. But up to around 110-120 it's going to be a hell of a race....

ROFL.....no way Al!!! UNPOSSIBLE!!! We all know S4's are slow.....especially mine, since I lost to a 550 whp S/C M3 with 400 lbs of weight reduction! There's no way I could possibly hang with a 997TT!!!

It will happen soon, i have complete confidence in the outcome and you know i know my ****. You can be on race gas and the 997 on 91 (stock) will still edge away. A 997TT with a chip is near 500awhp on 91, that is no competition for a stg3 S4. Im just being realistic here, sorry if it bugs you.

Im too busy with my M3 right now, going to visit it this weekend. The progress is just insane.

The 997tt would have walked my car with no nitrous. You guys truely underestimate other cars and overestimate your cars.

No under or over estimation here... I would like to see this run. I own both brands and no what both are FULLY capable of. I still think the 997TT will out run the S4 but hey there is only on eway to find out. Just make sure you guys Video it so there can be no misunderstanding.

OH and.....

DRIVE SAFE! I'd hate to see either of you guys wreck your cars because of egos...

does high octane (100 or 110) or race gas makes that much difference on performance and hp/torgue gains? Would i feel a noticeable difference if i dump some race gas into my 997tt with chip/exhaust vs on pump 93?
